TERMS OF HIRE

  1. No refunds will be made on bookings. Should you wish to cancel your booking, please get in touch and you will be able to arrange an alternative date and time or cancel the booking.

  3. Hirers are responsible for ensuring venues are left in a clean and tidy condition. Failure to do so may incur additional charges to cover cleaning costs.
  4. Hirers are responsible for removing any rubbish and waste.
  5. Hirers will be responsible for any damage which may be caused during the time of their occupation.
  6. The hirer will be responsible for taking down any decorations. No tacks, nails or fasteners are to be driven into the floor, walls or any other part of the venue.
  7. The hirer shall be responsible for leaving the venue in the condition it was found and must remove any articles not belonging to the venue at the end of the hire period.
  8. Chelsea Creek accepts no liability whatsoever for loss, theft, damage or injury sustained whilst in the facility or car park.
  9. All bookings and enquiries to be made through the Chelsea Creek Booking Portal.
  10. In line with current legislation there must be no smoking in any Venue.
  11. No dogs, apart from assistance dogs, may be admitted.
  12. Hirers are responsible for ensuring any fire / emergency exits are kept free from obstructions.
  13. Chelsea Creek reserves the right to cancel any booking which they deem unsuitable, unlawful or if the Venue is required for use as a polling station during elections.
  14. Hirers shall ensure noise levels are kept to a minimum in order to avoid disturbance to nearby residents.

FIRE RISK – HEALTH AND SAFETY

Health and safety should be your number one priority.

  • Ensure you and your attendees know where the fire exits are
  • Ensure that you and your attendees know where the fire extinguishers are
  • Ensure you are aware of any attendees at your event with mobility limitations
  • Everyone has a responsibility for safety – ensure no one takes risks as part of your event
